GENERAL BUSINESS
Liquor Licence at Greenvale Shopping Centre: Greg White explained that he had followed up with the Department of Justice on behalf of the GRA about the application. He was told that the Victoria Police had lodge an objection to the application and that the file was still with the investigating officer. No date has been set for a hearing.

Sewerage Problem on Mickleham Road: A septic tank overflow from a private residence is spilling into the storm water gutter causing a potential health problem. Charlie Grech advised that he has spoken to the Hume City Council and that they have investigated and found that out of 3 septic tanks in that area 1 is faulty and the council has issued a replacement notice. This may take a couple of months due to the weather.
Action: No further action at this time.
GREENVALE WEST R3 PSP: Charlie Grech provided development plans for the Greenvale west area PSP. There was discussion about the plans and it was noted that there are 262 medium density blocks. If anyone wishes to see the plans contact Charlie.
Action: No further action at this time.

Tullamarine Freeway access from Mickleham Road: Several attendees complained at the difficult access to the freeway. The main complaint is that cars are cutting across from the middle lane at the last moment into the turning lane. Some cars are also coming up the bus lane and then cutting back into the traffic. After discussion the Secretary is the send a letter to Vic Roads outlining the problems.
Action: Secretary to send a letter to Vic Roads.

Somerton Road: Concerns over the proposed intersection of Aitkin Bvd, Kirkham Ave and Somerton Road were raised by several members. A general discussion followed and it was resolved that the Secretary should seek information from Vic Roads on their plans for this intersection.
Action: Secretary to follow up.

Library Bookmarks: David Burrows raised a suggestion that a way of advertising the GRA is to provide bookmarks to the Mobile Library the Association details on it. A discussion on this idea followed and the Secretary is to follow up.
Action: Secretary to contact the Council Head Librarian to see if this can be done.

Car Boot Sale: Daryl Canny suggested that we find out about holding a car boot sale at the Greenvale Rec Centre. The Secretary is to contact the Hume City Council to find out if possible and the details for running one if allowed.
Action: Secretary to contact the Hume City Council.

Johnson Street Smart Bus Stop: Mavis Jack explained that elderly people are having difficulty crossing Johnson Street from the Bus stop on the south side due to heavy traffic. This is a dangerous practice.
Action: The secretary to follow up.
