There is a new grant process and 19 August is the closing date. Rate rises were discussed and the rate increase is 6.2% which comprises of 4.95% council, 0.75% landfill, 0.5% superannuation fund. The State Government does not provide the Council with any funds from the Landfill levy. This included the new fields, coaches’ boxes, access to toilets and a future club house. Discussion followed Hilmi’s briefing and the main point was the need for a club house in the next five years.
