President Daniel Garofalo welcomed members and guests and declared the meeting opened at 7.00p.m.

GENERAL BUSINESS

Nominations for Secretary

The President report that the Secretary elected at the General Meeting has resigned due to family issues.  The President called for nominations.  There were none.  Acting Secretary Greg White asked the President to postpone the nominations until the next meeting and that he would continue to act as Secretary until then.

HILATS
A general discussion was held after Greg White outlined the relevant sections that concern Greenvale in particular.  The President decided that at the next meeting he would form a subcommittee to examine the HILATS document in detail.

Action: President to form subcommittee

Car Boot Sale
President Daniel updated the meeting on the proposed Car Boot Sale.  Daryl Canny advised he would do the food handling course in the next couple of weeks.  Daniel will contact Hume City Council about GRA running a car boot sale on 31 Mar 2012 at the Greenvale Rec Centre car park.

Action:  The President to contact HCC and Daryl Canny to complete course

Sewerage Works along Yuroke Creek
Dianne presented an update on the work being carried out.

NAB Auto teller at Greenvale Shopping Centre
Maria spoke about the lack of a NAB auto teller at the Greenvale Shopping Centre.  The other major banks have tellers at the centre.  Nearest teller is Airport West.  Discussion followed and the President asked the Acting Secretary to write a letter to the NAB asking that an Auto teller be installed at Greenvale Shopping Centre.

Action: Acting Secretary to write to NAB

Sewerage smell on Mickleham Road

Charlie Grech will follow this up as it has been a couple of months since the HCC issued a notice on the occupants of the offending house to fix the septic problem.

Action: Charlie to report to the next meeting
